Get your summer housing assignment in May.
We’ll notify you of your housing assignment in your MU email. You will see your summer assignment in the Housing Portal.

Relax and wait until summer.
May 19: If you’re currently living with Housing during the spring 2026 semester and requesting the 1st 4-week or full summer session will be eligible for continuous housing between spring and summer sessions. You will be required to move to your summer assignment on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 and must be present to move.
Starting May 20: Regardless of which hall you’re in, all summer residents must directly check in at their front desk.

Just like the academic year, you'll be supported by desk attendants, resident advisors and residence hall coordinators. You'll also have 24/7 on-call support for help after hours.
Move-In Assignments
Your move-in day depends on the session you select. See dates above. We'll provide specific information about moving in closer to your move-in day to make it a simple transition for you.
What to Bring
We have a downloadable move-in checklist to help you organize what you need to pack and what items will be provided to you. It also explains which items are not allowed in your residence hall room such as air fryers, toasters, space heaters, etc.
